49erNext

49erNext is a co-admission program that partners with NC community colleges to implement an integrated set of strategies to achieve significant improvements in college completion rates and narrowing of attainments gaps for low income, underrepresented and first-generation students. The program is evaluated annually by comparing students enrolled in 49erNext with a set of students who are of similar criteria but did not enroll in the program. Analysis includes the following data by cohort: current number of students enrolled, students who have transitioned to UNC Charlotte, number of students who have earned their Associates degree and demographic information such as ethnicity and income level.
