This program was first conceptualized to highlight the fullness of the Black experience at Charlotte and allow our incoming students and families to feel that embrace Charlotte Black Faculty & Staff Mixer- Monday, February 21st @ 6:00pm| Zoom Join us virtually for the premier Black faculty and staff mixer! Our notable Black faculty and staff will shed insight into their experiences at the university, why they chose to work at UNC Charlotte, and impart a few words of wisdom to our prospective and admitted students and families. You do not want to miss this! A Lesson in Black History: Charlotte Edition- Tuesday, February 22nd @ 6:00pm| Zoom Interested in learning more about the Black experience as it pertains to the university? Join us for a powerful look into the history of UNC Charlotte- past, present, and future! Black Student Success Week Takeover- Wednesday, February 23rd from 10-4| Instagram Join us on the gram to ask questions of our current students about their experience, involvement, and biggest learning lessons as a Black student on campus. It goes down in the DM- so be sure to meet us there @CLTAdmissions Student Org Showcase- Thursday, February 24th @ 6:00pm| Zoom Want to learn more about ways to get involved on campus? Join us for an awesome look into some of the most prominent Black student organizations at UNC Charlotte including NAACP, the Black Student Union, and more! Finding Your Place On Campus: A Conversation About the Black Student Experience| In-person ASD Coming to Admitted Student Day on February 25th? Join us at (place TBD) for a candid conversation with current Black students on campus about their experience navigating Charlotte. This is a great opportunity for our admitted students to gain invaluable insight into what life is truly like as a Black student on campus. Don’t miss out!
