Carver College: Fates Intertwined Event & Exhibit

Carver College was a 2 year junior college for African Americans in Charlotte. NC that was the sister school of Charlotte College. After integration was enforced. Carver merged with a local industrial school which later became Central Piedmont Community College. This event and exhibit examined the how and why Carver was founded and eventually went defunct. Atkins library holds the records for this college.
