CHHS Dean's Faculty Fellow. (Focus on DEI in Strategic Plan this year)

For the second academic year, Dean Catrine Tudor-Locke appointed a CHHS Dean's Faculty Fellow to assist with a special project in the Dean's Office. This year, the 2021-2022 CHHS Dean's Faculty Fellow is Dr. Diana Rowan. She is focusing on exploring metrics to measure progress on Goal 3 in the CHHS Strategic Plan 2020-2025, which focuses on the goal to "Expand inclusion, diversity, equity, and access (IDEA) so that all belong, contribute and thrive". It is supported by objectives aimed at increasing IDEA in classes and programs, in research, and in service. Last year's CHHS Dean's faculty Fellow was Dr. Reuben Howden, who also focused on assessment related to the strategic plan. Both fellows discussed their work, including DEI metrics, during a presentation for the CHHS on Oct. 29, 2021
