Creating Inclusive Field Placements

The Field Office will hold a workshop for current field instructors/task supervisors in March 2022. This workshop will focus on how field settings can develop inclusive field experiences. The workshop is hosted in collaboration with the Office of Identity, Equity, and Engagement. A related survey/research study will be used as an evaluation method. Learning Outcomes: Identify relevant inclusive language Discuss strategies for supporting student needs Demonstrate increased comfort level/skill in having open conversations with interns Create safe, accessible, and inclusive field environments
