Friendship and Culture Exchange

The Friendship and Culture Exchange (FACE) is a semester-long program which provides International and U.S. students structured opportunities to spend time together (usually 1 hr/week), developing friendships and exploring cultural topics. Small groups are created but students also have the opportunity to engage in larger group gatherings and virtual connections throughout the semester. Goals of Program: Encourage open communication between and among international and U.S. American students; Improve awareness and understanding of different cultures; Provide international students at UNC Charlotte an opportunity to improve speaking skills and exposure to U.S. Culture.
