The School of Professional Studies supports and administers scholarship programs to support adult learners in continuing their education. The Anne Spychala Family Charitable Foundation Scholarship for Women in Continuing Education supports women returning to higher education. The Career Comeback Scholarship supports adult learners who have stopped out of higher education and who wish to resume their studies. Additionally, there are a number of waivers and discounts for UNC Charlotte graduate students. The goal is to make continuing education more affordable. The programs are evaluated based on number of scholarships and waivers provided, the number of participants who receive this support who complete a program, and feedback from recipients.
