The purpose of the Safe Zone Program at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte is to create an affirming and supportive campus climate through identifying and educating members of our campus community who are open to and affirming of all individuals regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.
The Safe Zone Program is an umbrella for all educational Queer programming including the Safe Zone Ally Program, & the Friendly Peer Training.
