Strategic Goals

Goal 3.1. Increase support and resources for faculty to enhance the integration of culturally relevant course content and teaching practices into student learning experiences and provide assessment to ensure a positive classroom climate for civil discourse, diversity of thought, and transformational learning among all students.

Goal 3.2. Use research and evidenced-based practices to routinely evaluate and update campus-wide diversity education and cultural awareness training to provide additional learning opportunities and reward continuous personal and professional development and engagement toward transformational learning; ensure visibility of existing and new offerings.

Goal 3.3. Build and sustain an intellectual community to further advance engaged scholarship and support for  upscaling and expanding inclusive excellence best practices across campus.

Goal 3.4. Develop incentives and pathways to review, promote, and publicize inclusive teaching, scholarly activity and community engagement, service, mentoring, and leadership that advances inclusive excellence.
