Know Me Task Force

Personalization of our Charlotte experiences and interactions enable us to be more inclusive. The Know Me Task Force's primary initiative is to personalize the experience of every student, faculty, staff, or alumni member within our community. The task force has already tackled the ability to share and use preferred first names on campus. Current planning is underway to introduce the opportunity to share and use personal pronouns and gender identity in fall 2021. Other future initiatives are focused on including personal pronouns and student ID photos in class rosters, advisee lists, and many other uses. The overarching objective of this task force is to examine ways in which we can engage and communicate "as family should". After all, for the duration of your involvement with Charlotte, you are family.
