Mission The mission of the Mental Health Research and Practice Division is to create, implement, and advance innovative mental health research and practices that uplift and provide healing to diverse individuals and families in schools and communities. The aims of the Mental Health Interdisciplinary Research Team include the following: To identify the specific mental health needs of diverse individuals and families in schools and communities. To support the sustainment of a diverse mental health provider network in schools and communities. To reduce mental health disparities by developing innovative solutions. To enhance mental well-being among diverse individuals, families, and communities.
