Initiatives + Events

The Campus DEI inventory was created to centralize and improve  accessibility to the university's growing database of opportunities in hopes of building community, inspiring change, and enriching Charlotte's overall educational and cultural experience for students, employees, alumni, and the growing network of community members, visitors, and friends.

Inclusive Excellence at UNC Charlotte is guided by the many stories and lived experiences of our campus and surrounding communities. These education and engagement opportunities are designed to cultivate an extensive learning and working environment to raise awareness, encourage critical thinking, broaden understanding, and promote engagement at the local level and beyond. As part of this effort, departments and units across the campus have developed a variety of cultural programs and initiatives which are now housed in our campus-wide DEI inventory.

As this database continues to grow, we invite you to help us keep it up-to-date. If you know of an initiative that is not listed, please click the SUBMIT OR UPDATE YOUR DEI INITIATIVES button below and complete the form. Thank you for your commitment to inclusive excellence.
